It’s been a couple of years since I joined my last Blog Hop. so when Ms. Lori Anderson announced in January 2017 the Bead Hoarders Blog Hop for March 25, 2017, I signed up and planned to share my projects on time however, things happened. I went for a 2 week trip to the Philippines to spend time with my family and celebrate my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, my Mom’s 75th and sisters 40th birthdays. Yes, March is a very big month for us especially this year. Anyway, it took awhile for me to go back to my daily routine, catching up with work and jet lag which was pretty hard to get over with. Anyway, here I am 3 weeks late. Thank you for your understanding.
My partner was Ms. Vonna of Just Vonna who sent me a lot of beads to work with: glass beads, pearls, turquoise beads and ceramic heart pendant which was made by Vonna herself. I wasn’t able to use her focal bead but I will use it for a project soon.

One of the favorite beads in the stash is the chunky purple/cream bead. It had a big hole so I was able to thread it with the leather cording. I added textured pearls, copper washers, glass and disc beads. It’s a long necklace but I like how it turned out.

For this next piece, I used the turquoise beads and combined it with pearl washers, glass beads and copper wire. I always enjoy working with turquoise so it was a delight when I received the stash of beads that she sent.

Thank you to Vonna for giving me these beads. Visit her blog to see what she made with the beads that I sent her – I like the bracelets that she makes, very organic and pretty. I have to check the other participants too and here’s a list in case you want to hop with me.
