It will be Valentine’s day in a couple of days and I’d like to share with you how to make a DIY photo wall for your selfie shots. I made this during the church’s celebration of couple’s Sunday. It’s a simple and easy to make project that doesn’t cost a lot. You’ll just need colored paper – for this project, I used red, paper trimmer or scissors and a stapler.
The first step is to determine how wide the strips should be. Try cutting it in different lengths and widths. I used 1/2 and 3/4 inch wide strips of paper. Fold the strip of paper in half.
Next, bring both ends of the paper to the center and staple. This will create a perfect heart as long as you are gentle with it. Having hearts in different sizes will create dimension and interest in your project.
For the background, I used an off-white muslin cloth and added the L-O-V-E banner that I printed from HERE and used HERE. I added the paper hearts and taped each one at a time,
Here’s me and my very patient and ever supportive love of my life. I think the project turned out great – cute and sweet! Hmmm… you can use this idea and make paper butterflies or origami cranes for a wedding shower party and so on. For now, it’s gonna be hearts for me.
Make your pretty Valentine selfie photo wall and share your projects with me. Have fun!
