It’s time for the 2nd Annual Bead Hoarder’s Blog Hop hosted by Ms. Lori Anderson and friends. I’ve been making jewelry for about 3 years and sad to say, I have accumulated more beads than I could use. There are so many beads at the craft and specialty stores and sometimes, it’s challenging to say “No” to buying some more. LOL.
The first one that I made is a bracelet. I love these blue organic and red Asian inspired beads. They go so well together and the pop of red is a fun surprise. I used copper wire and went all the way by wire wrapping each component and linking them together and adding an s-clasp in the end.
Then I made a pair of earrings using the Vintaj round brass blanks with a transfer image. These were made during the jewelry class that I took at Vintaj in Galena, IL a few years ago. I enjoyed that class very much and I learned a lot from it. I used copper wire, wrapped each bead together and attached the components to a handmade round ear hook. It’s simple but beautiful.
Thank you for visiting CabbyCraft and enjoy the rest of your bead hop.
